Man charged with northeast Alabama murder

SCOTTSBORO, Alabama (WDEF) – Jackson County, Alabama investigators have charged a man with murder in the case of a body found in Woodville.

Last Friday, the body of a man was discovered, buried near a home on County Road 86, near the Marshall county line.

Then on Thursday, Sheriff’s investigators charged 31 year old Brandon Blaine Berry in the case.

He was already in jail on unrelated charges.

Berry was charged with First Degree Kidnapping and Murder.

Investigators are not releasing the name of the victim at this time.
