Bradley Central Uses Aerial Assault to Beat Soddy Daisy 42-8

Cleveland, TN-(WDEF-TV) Bradley Central used an aerial assault on Thursday night to take down Soddy Daisy 42-8 at the Bears Den. On Bradley Central’s first offensive snap of the game, quarterback Dylan Standifer handed it off to receiver Tray Curry, who pulled up for a pass and connected with Ashton Boyd for 39 yards. Two plays later, and Standifer hit Saylor Clark for a 34-yard touchdown to make it 7-0. The Bears defense sniffed out a Trojans fake punt, giving their offense good field position. Standifer and company cashed in as Standifer zipped one to Boyd who sprinted down the field for a 44 yard touchdown to make it 14-0. The Bears offense got rolling again after an interception. Standifer completed a deep pass to a diving Boyd. That later set up a Standifer quarterback sneak for a touchdown to start the second quarter. That made it 21-0. The Trojans answered on their next series on a ten yard run from Isaac Barnes. A two point conversion made it 21-8. But the Soddy Daisy defense could not stop Bradley Central. With under three minutes to go in the first half, Ricky McCleary found the end zone on a short touchdown run. That made it 28-8 at halftime. The Bears got the ball to start the third quarter, and they marched down the field with McCleary scoring on another short run to make it 35-8. The Bears tacked on one more score to win it 42-8.
