Tennessee man convicted of child molestation in north Georgia

CHATSWORTH, Georgia (WDEF) – A jury in Murray County found a Tennessee man guilty on Thursday night of child molestation and sexual battery of a minor.

47 year old Brian Jones was in a relationship with a member of the family involved.

The victims were two young children, who told family members about the abuse in the spring of 2017.

Jones is from Old Fort , Tennessee across the state line from Murray County.

He faces up to 65 years in prison when he is sentenced on October 31st.
