Former Whitfield firefighter sentenced for child molestation

A former Whitfield county firefighter has been sentenced on child molestation charges.

William Taylor White pleaded guilty in a Whitfield County Courtroom to 3 charges in a plea deal.

White was originally charged with multiple counts of child molestation involving a child younger than 16.

White was arrested last year at the Whitfield County Fire Department.

He was sentenced to five years in prison and 15 on probation.
