Mother, Father hit by car while out trick-or-treating with children in Catoosa

CATOOSA COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) – A night of trick or treating takes a tragic turn on Halloween in Catoosa County. Sheriff Gary Sisk says a mother, father, children were out, when they were hit by a car this evening.

It happened on Castleberry Street.

That’s a subdivision across from Lakeview Middle School.

The Catoosa County Sheriff’s office says that the driver who hit the family was 81 years old.

The Georgia State Patrol says there are injuries, and they are investigating the incident.
