Bob Corker wraps up his Senate career today at the Chattanooga Rotary Club
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Bob Corker spoke to a room full of friends and acquaintances at the Chattanooga Rotary Club at noon.
With less than two months left of his 12 years in the U.S. Senate, Corker opened up on a variety of issues.
He summed up his relationships with 3 U.S. Presidents, George W Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump.
Senator Corker told the Rotarians he still doesn’t know what he’ll do after retiring from politics.
The head of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee also took questions from the audience.
One mother asked him if her son in the military was safe if he’s sent to the border. Senator Corker says he’s not worried about the caravan.
He told them that, in the long run, the President was right about Iran.
And Senator Corker pulled no punches about who he blames for the Saudi Arabian journalist scandal.
