Unum donates to Wreaths Across America

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Wreaths Across America is an organization that remembers and honors veterans with wreath-laying ceremonies every December.

Unum in Chattanooga is a partner in that effort.

This morning, the company shared a webcast from its Portland, Maine campus featuring a wounded Afghanistan soldier.

Then they joined the effort with a check presentation of ten thousand dollars from Senior Vice President Tom White to retired Navy Captain Mickey McCamish.

The local group is trying to raise enough money to place a wreath on the gravestones of all 43,000 veterans buried at the Chattanooga national cemetery.
