Keoshia Ford Update

The family of shooting victim Keoshia Ford says she is making some improvements.
But more than 2 years later, her life will never be the same.
Ford was at a block party on Bennett Avenue in March of 2012 when a group of gang members fired into the crowd.
Keoshia suffered brain damage after getting hit by gunfire.
Her family says she can now move her body slightly when they talk to her.
Keoshia’s sister, Markalla Ford, has a message for people involved in gang violence in Chattanooga.
"I feel like, it’s, it’s crazy for you to be killing people because he got on blue, he got on red. People need to stop that for real, because stuff be serious out here on the streets. And my sister was 13 when she got shot. She’s 15 now. She ain’t never get to live her life how I done live my life."
The juvenile who shot Keoshia Ford got sentenced to 2 years behind bars.
