Arrest made in Meigs County murder

DECATUR, Tennessee (WDEF) – Authorities have made an arrest Meigs County homicide over the weekend.

Michael Lee Joyner was killed at his home on Warren Lane in Decatur.

An autopsy found he died from a stab wound.

On Tuesday, investigators charged an acquaintance of the victim with his murder.

41-year old Randall Burnette faces a charge of Second Degree Murder.
