CPD Officer Arrested

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) A Chattanooga Police Officer already on administrative leave has been arrested and charged with domestic assault.

34-year-old David Catchings Junior was arrested early Wednesday morning.

Court papers show he hit his mother-in-law.

Catchings was also arrested back in September for driving under the influence.

He’s being investigated by Internal Affairs.
