House Fire in Whitfield County Leaves One Dead

A house fire early Saturday morning in Whitfield County has left one person dead.

Officials say the fire was reported at around 1 AM in the 4500 block of Crestway Drive.

One other person has been transported to a local hospital for smoke inhalation.
