Delta Queen May Remain At Coolidge Park

The historic Delta Queen remains at Coolidge Park, and it may be there a while longer.
A measure to move the historic boat passed the U.S. House.
But it was blocked in the Senate, according to the Chattanoogan.com.
Several east coast Senators say the U.S. Coast Guard is concerned it might be a fire trap.
There is an effort underway to buy the Delta Queen and make it a viable riverboat.
If the plan is successful, the boat would be moved to Cincinnati, Ohio.
It’s now a floating hotel, which has lost its permit to operate
on in-land rivers.
