No students hurt in Boy Scout Road school bus crash

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – No students were hurt in a school bus crash this afternoon, but a driver in the other vehicle was.

The wreck happened in the 1100 block of Boy Scout road around 3:30 PM.

Deputies investigating the crash say the bus failed to yield to oncoming traffic when it turned left onto Hampton Wood Circle.

Chevy Blazer his the bus as it turned.

The driver of a Chevrolet Blazer struck the bus as it turned left.

The SUV driver was taken to the hospital to get checked out.

There were eight students on the bus, but none of them, nor the driver, were hurt.
