UPDATE: Police find Lookout Valley assault suspect in Morgan County

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – UPDATE: 60-year-old Sandra Crews has died from her injuries.

Police arrest a suspect in an attack on a 60-year-old woman Wednesday night in Lookout Valley.

She was stabbed multiple times, and may have also been shot.

Investigators are still trying to figure that out.

Her injuries were critical when she was sent to the hospital after 10:30 PM.

Major Crimes Investigators identified 35 year old Joanna Alder as the suspect.

She was found and arrested in Morgan County, Tennessee.

Alder faces a charge of Attempted First Degree Murder.
