Man wakes to bed on fire in Soddy Daisy

SODDY DAISY, Tennessee (WDEF) – A home in Soddy Daisy burned this morning.

It happened at a mobile home on Wilkes Avenue around 5:20 AM.

The resident told firefighter he woke up to his bed on fire.

When he couldn’t put it out, he called 911.

No one in the home was hurt, but it was a total loss.

The cause has not been determined.
