My Future Schools Fair on Tuesday postponed by weather

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Hamilton County Schools have postoned their My Future Schools Fair on Tuesday night because of weather.

They cite the potential of heavy rain and possible flooding.

Instead, they will hold it next Monday from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Unum located at 500 Walnut Street.  Parking will be available at the intersection of 5th Street and Walnut Street for the event.

“The My Future Schools Fair will feature all Future Ready Institutes that will include 27 institutes at 13 high schools in the district.  The institutes are theme-based schools within a school that have a career focus to help students connect what is learned in the classroom with their goals for the future.  The program found immediate success with one-third of this year’s freshman class enrolled in a Future Ready Institute.”
