Woman shot by boyfriend in Chattanooga
The woman was treated and does not have life-threatening injuries
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A woman was shot by her boyfriend in Chattanooga on Thursday, according to police. They say her injuries were not life-threatening.
The shooting happened around 8 p.m. at 3375 Hughes Ave.
The 39-year-old woman was sitting in her car as she had an argument with her boyfriend, Chattanooga Police said.
Police say at some point in the argument, Jackson pulled a gun and shot into her car.
The suspect, 38-year-old Marcus Jackson, fled the scene after shooting her.
Chattanooga Police say they are still working to find the suspect.
Emergency personnel took the victim to a hospital for treatment.
