Another price hike is coming for EPB Fiber TV Packages

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – EPB says their Fiber Optics packages are going up again.

Beginning on April 1, the prices for their Fiber TV channels are going up:

$2  Bronze Tier

$6 Silver Tier

$7 Gold Tier

They blame the programmers for the continuing price hikes.

“While TV content providers continue to drive up costs for subscribers across the nation, EPB is doing what we can to reduce the impact for our customers,” said EPB President and CEO David Wade. “In addition to providing personalized recommendations to help our customers find their best TV value whether they subscribe for TV through us or use streaming services, we have never increased internet prices in the 13 years since we launched.”

EPB has been encouraging their customers to actually drop the Fiber TV packages for streaming alternatives to save money.

They offer EPB MyBundle as a free, online comparison service to see if you could save money by switching to streaming alternatives.

The company says some customers can save up to a thousand dollars a year.
