Missing Knoxville teen is found and two are arrested on charges of human trafficking
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Tennessee special agents and highway patrol have arrested and charged a man and woman accused of trafficking a 17-year-old Knoxville girl.
On Tuesday, February 21st, Human Trafficking Agents were contacted after a trooper in Hickman Co. performed a routine traffic stop.
Agents determined the teen was a missing juvenile from Knoxville, and the adults in the vehicle were believed to be trafficking her.
The teen was taken to a Nashville facility to receive care.
Chadwick Corley, 21-year-old of Memphis, and Zoe Whitlock, 19-year-old of Ellisville, Mississippi, were booked into the Hickman Co. Jail.
They each received one count of trafficking for commercial sex acts.
