Early Morning Crash On I-75

Cleveland, TN (WDEF) – Just before 1 am this morning Bradley County EMS responded to a single car crash on I-75 northbound at the 28 mile marker. Bradley County responded 2 ambulances and a shift commander to the scene.

When EMS units arrived they found a car that had left the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle had extensive damage with a female driver pinned inside. Paramedics requested air medical to respond to the scene. Erlanger’s Lifeforce was notified by 911 dispatch. The interstate was shut down to accommodate a landing zone just north of the scene.

Once the woman was extricated from the wreckage she was moved to a ambulance for treatment and stabilization. Lifeforce arrived within minutes. The woman was the loaded onto the helicopter and flown to Erlanger in Chattanooga.

The patient’s exact age and condition is not known at this time.
