Hamilton County Woman Charged with TennCare Fraud, Again
Tennessee’s Officer of the Inspector General announces a second round of TennCare fraud charges against a Georgetown woman.
31-year old Melody Delong was arrested for doctor shopping for prescription drugs just last month in Rhea County.
But investigators say they were considering additional charges.
This time they are accusing Delong of obtaining a controlled substance illegally in Sevier County, and then billing TennCare.
Inspector General Manny Tyndall says “We have open cases in almost every county in Tennessee.”
