UTC Women Get 17th Straight Win After Beating Wofford 68-41

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) – Jasmine Joyner scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season to lead No. 21 Chattanooga past Wofford 68-41 on Monday.
Joyner was 6 of 9 from the field and 6 of 7 from the free throw line in 27 minutes. She added four assists and four blocks.
Ka’Vonne Towns and Chelsey Shumpert had 11 points apiece for Chattanooga (21-3, 9-0 Southern). The Mocs had 20 assists on their 25 field goals and outrebounded the Terriers 39-26.
Chattanooga was 1 of 11 on 3-pointers in the first half, but hit 6 of 10 in the second – with consecutive makes by Destiny Bramblett and Towns to build a 27-point lead.
Chanel Stokes led Wofford (7-17, 2-7) with 13 points.
Chattanooga had a 15-5 lead through the first 10 minutes and used an 11-3 run, with seven straight Joyner points, to build a 32-13 halftime advantage.
