Mocs Casey Jones Named SoCon Player of the Week For Second Straight Week

Chattanooga’s Casey Jones has been named the league’s Player of the Week for the second time in three weeks. Jones averaged 22.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists and shot 61 percent from the field as the Mocs earned wins over Wofford (56-46) and Samford (79-72). The junior scored at least 20 points for the seventh and eighth times, respectively, this season. Jones poured in a game-high 23 points and pulled down eight rebounds in a road win at Wofford before following that performance with 21 points and 10 rebounds against Samford to give him his sixth double-double of the season.
