The Signal to hold grand opening of new venue in May
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – A popular entertainment venue is soon to have its grand opening.
The Signal is preparing to move into its new venue next to the Chattanooga Choo Choo.
They are currently constructing the new site but once it is finished, the new venue will have a capacity of 1,500 patrons with an expanded mezzanine and upgraded amenities.
Chief Operating Officer for Marathon Live Casey Osburn said, “I think this new space will allow us to have an expanded caliber of artists. We’ll have from local, regional, and national acts. But because of mezzanine, because of the location, and because of the upgrades we’re doing, we’ll be able to bring in a much wider variety of artists.”

The interior of the new Signal location, still under construction. This will be where one of the bars will be, along with the expanded mezzanine on the second floor.
The Signal has already sold out shows in its first month with artists like Kevin Gates and All Time Low.
Their grand opening will be on May 2, with a free concert from local musician Nick Lutsko.
Tours will also be available before the concert.
