Signal Mountain drug bust results in five arrests
SEQUATCHIE COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — After obtaining a search warrant, law enforcement officers conducted a drug investigation and seized more than a pound of meth.
The Sequatchie County Sheriff’s Office said they obtained a warrant for 27 Old Miller Road on Signal Mountain.
The bust happened on April 12, and it resulted in five arrests.
Officers seized one and a quarter pounds of suspected meth, which they said was worth more than $23,000.
They also seized 68 suspected fentanyl pills, two firearms, drug paraphernalia and over $3,000 in cash.
The sheriff’s office arrested Felicia Del Rosario, Johnny Keener, Danielle Keener, Tyler Woodward and a 17-year-old juvenile.
Sequatchie County officers charged Del Rosario with possession of schedule 2 meth for resale, possession of schedule 2 fentanyl for resale and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
They charged Johnny Keener with possession of schedule 2 meth for resale, possession of schedule 2 fentanyl for resale and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Officers charged Danielle Keener with possession of schedule 2 meth for resale.
They also charged Woodward with possession of schedule 2 meth for resale.
The sheriff’s office charged the juvenile with possession of schedule 2 meth.
According to Sheriff Bill Phillips, this is the largest meth bust in Sequatchie County to his knowledge.
“The work these men and women in law enforcement are doing is vital to the well-being and the futures of our citizens. This bust is just an example of what they do every day to strive for the safety of those in our community. I’m proud of the progress they have made and I’m proud to do what I can to support them,” Sheriff Phillips said.
