Soddy Daisy Wins District Showdown 4-3 Over East Hamilton

Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) Soddy Daisy and East Hamilton were tied atop their district standings heading into Monday night’s showdown. Game lived up to the hype as Soddy Daisy won 4-3 in extra innings. After falling behind 2-0, Jase Phillips hit a 2-run homer for the Hurricanes in the fourth inning to tie the game. East Hamliton took the lead in the 5th on an RBI double from Jack McBrayer. The Trojans then tied the game at 3 in the bottom of the 7th on a two out single to left by Kale Johnson. Trojans finally pushed a run across in extra innings for the 4-3 victory.
