Community to get free dental care Friday

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Chattanooga community can receive free dental care this upcoming Friday.

On April 21, Winn Smiles Dental Practice is having a volunteer effort to benefit the community. They’re calling it “Smiles from the Heart.”

Winn Smiles staff will be at Winn Smiles Shallowford to provide this care from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Their address is 2217 Olan Mills Drive in Chattanooga.

They will accept patients aged 18 and older.

Patients can choose one free service:

• Cleaning,
• Extraction,
• Filling.

The company said services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Owner Dr. Brad Winn said, “I got into dentistry because I wanted to help people. People often don’t understand the importance of a smile. It’s more than just cleanings and fillings at Winn Smiles–it’s about the people and what restoring their smiles means to them. Confidence in their smile is a gift that I truly never tire of being able to help give someone. Smiles from the Heart is a day when we get to open our doors and give that to, and help, as many people as possible. We all love it. It’s a day where we remember that we are in the smile business first and foremost.”
