Tucker Carlson and Don Lemon lose their network shows on the same day
WASHINGTON D.C. (WDEF) – Two big names in the political/culture wars on news networks are looking for work.
Both Tucker Carlson and Don Lemon have lost their jobs on the air.
Fox News Media announced their parting of the ways with Carlson Monday morning.
“FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.”
Lemmon’s news came from his own Twitter feed.
CNN later issued a statement saying they had “parted ways.”
“Don will forever be a part of the CNN family, and we thank him for his contributions over the past 17 years,” the network told the New York Times. “We wish him well and will be cheering him on in his future endeavors.”

Carlson was a key figure in the Dominion voting machine lawsuit against Fox which ended in a settlement.
On episode of his show featring MyPillow founder Mike Lindell was one of 20 broadcasts cited by Dominion in their lawsuit.
Details in the lawsuit also revealed Carlson’s dislike of former President Donald Trump.
Carlson worked at CNN, MSNBC, and PBS before arriving at Fox.
He started as a contributor in 2009 and worked his way up to hosting his own, top-rated show at 8PM.
The removal is immediate; his last show was Friday.

Don Lemon was one of CNN’s most recognizable stars, but he has tumbled since a series of statements he made on the air in February tarnished his reputation.
Critics called his remarks on Nikki Haley being past her prime as sexist.
The New York Times cites unnamed sources at CNN as saying that some guests refused to appear on him and his popularity has dropped since the comments.
Lemon appeared this morning in his regular role on the network’s morning show.
