Ooltewah plans to welcome a $40-million-dollar apartment complex
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Right off the interstate, Ooltewah may soon be home to a 40-million-dollar apartment complex.
The planned location of the new build would be on 18 acres of land located right off the Ooltewah exit on the corner of Hilltop Drive and Hunter Road.
Hamilton county is planning for this 236 unit to be across the street from a hotel, restaurant, or both.
The complex would split into nine buildings, calling for 94 one-bedroom and 104 two-bedroom units.
The complex will supposedly hold 38 apartments with three bedrooms and 453 parking spaces.
Some are concerned about the back-ups this will create within the already thick work-hour traffic in Chattanooga.
