Planning Session to be Held for Proposed Courthouse

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Neighbors will have a chance to voice their opinion on a new federal courthouse in Chattanooga.

The General Services Administration is looking to replace the current courthouse next to Miller Park.

They say they’ve outgrown it.

They are considering three potential locations to build their new courthouse.

They are:  The current Lookouts stadium on Hawk Hill, a portion of the TVA campus downtown, or a piece of property near Lindsey and 8th Streets.

That piece of land is already mostly vacant.

You can share your thoughts and concerns at the Mac Avenue Event Space on McCallie Avenue on June 14th from 5:30 to 7:30 in the evening.

It will be an open house style setting.
