Lookouts Nick Northcut Slams Three Homers in 9-5 Win Over the Smokies

Lookouts first baseman Nick Northcut put on a show against the Tennessee Smokies on Wednesday night in Kodak, Tennessee. He belted three home runs as Chattanooga defeated the Smokies 9-5 in 11 innings. With the score tied at five in the top of the 11th, Northcut swatted a 3-run homer, which proved to be the game winning hit. He drove in five runs on the night. With the victory the Lookouts pulled within a half game of the Smokies for first place in the Southern League North Division standings.
