Intersection in East Ridge to be closed for construction

EAST RIDGE, Tenn. (WDEF) — An intersection in East Ridge will be closed for approximately nine days during upcoming construction.

The intersection of Cemetery Road and Ringgold Road will be closed starting on Wednesday, June 7.

Talley Construction crews will be installing storm drainage pipes, according to the City of East Ridge.

Once the construction is complete, the road will reopen.

During this time, travelers will be detoured to Belvoir Avenue in order to access Cemetery Road from Ringgold Road.

Crews will post detour signage.

The City reminds the public that, if there is an emergency, they can contact the East Ridge Police Department or 911.
