3 sent to hospital in I-75 Bradley County crash
BRADLEY COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — A crash happened on I-75 Monday evening in Bradley County, sending three people to the hospital.
The incident happened around 6:30 p.m.
News 12 attained a preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) regarding the accident.
The report states that 43-year-old Melissa Liner, was driving a 2018 Nissan Armada. She was traveling northbound when she overcorrected and lost control of the car.
She then crossed the median and went into the southbound lanes of I-75. Then, another vehicle struck the Nissan.
The second vehicle was a 2013 Ford F-150, driven by a 63-year-old Virginia man. A woman was also a passenger in this truck.
The report shows that first responders took all three people to the hospital for injuries.
The southbound lanes of the interstate were shut down for hours as responders cleaned up the scene. The northbound lanes’ traffic was affected as well.
At this time, there are no charges.
