Chattanooga Traffic Fatality

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) Chattanooga Police say one person died in a single vehicle crash early Thursday morning.

It happened in the 4850 block of Hixson Pike around 5 a.m.

Officials say the driver went off the road to the left, hit some bushes and a wooden fence.

He was found dead in the car.

Officers say it doesn’t appear the man died from the crash, but they’re waiting on the Medical Examiner’s report for his exact cause of death.

Officials are not releasing the victim’s name pending notification of his family.
