Local child launches food truck business
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Victoria Cotton is an 8 year old food truck entrepreneur.
She’s from the Chattanooga area.
Her business is called Victoria’s Sweet Sensations .
“Me and my daddy had a conversation and then he asked me if I had a business what would I do and I said icees. Then he surprised me with a food truck,” said Victoria Cotton, CEO and Owner of Victoria’s Sweets Sensations.
Victoria started her business at 7 years old.
She said running a food truck can be a challenge, but she hopes to inspire others.
“It’s a very fun experience, but sometimes it could be hard,” Cotton said.
Victoria’s father is by her side.
He motivates her in business and in life.
“So my whole idea of helping her start a business is to continue generational wealth,” said Jay Cotton. “I wanted Victoria to understand the meaning of generational wealth and being able to operate on her own. So, I’m looking to break generational wealth curse that most families have by engaging all my knowledge into my daughter to start a business and to understand generation wealth. ”
Victoria says The Kitchen Incubator helped her get started.
Now she’s rolling toward a very bright future.
“The incubator opened up new doors and meeting new friends,” Cotton concluded.
