Sheriff’s office investigating East Brainerd shooting

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — A shooting happened at a home in East Brainerd on Monday.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office state the shooting happened at 1 p.m. on the 9900 block of Brently Estates Drive in East Brainerd, Tennessee.

They arrested a suspect but are still investigating the incident.

There is no threat to the community, according to the sheriff’s office.

Authorities did not give details into what caused the shooting or if anyone was injured.
