House catches fire in Apison, TN
APISON, Tenn. (WDEF) — Multiple fire departments assisted in extinguishing a house fire in Apison on Wednesday.
An off-duty firefighter reported the residential fire just before noon, according to Hamilton County authorities.
The Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department then responded to the house at 4912 Alabama Road to find flames coming out of the garage and attic.
No one was inside the single-story house at the time of the fire, according to the Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security.
By 12:40, firefighters had the flames under control.
The Marshal’s Office is investigating to determine what caused the fire.
So far, it is unclear what damage the fire caused.
Multiple stations responded to the fire, including HCEMS, Chattanooga Fire Department and Catoosa County Fire.
