Child reunited with family after found wandering in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga Police say someone found a child wandering around just before 4 a.m. on Friday.

CPD responded to the call, where a two-year-old was found on 4th Avenue.

Officers were attempting to locate the child’s family when the mother came outside.

The child’s mother identified the child and explained they used a toy to get out of the home.

Police reunited the child with their family. There are currently no charges filed.
