Pedestrian left dead after being struck by a vehicle

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- Chattanooga Police were notified of a pedestrian struck late Saturday morning.

Police responded to the 700 block of E 11th Street and located a woman who was suffering from a life-threatening injury.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.

Police are investigating leads in the case. 

No arrests have been made.
