Injured Vols Guard Zakai Zeigler Itching to Return

The Vols basketball team is traveling to Italy in a few weeks to play in three exhibition games.
Guard Zakai Zeigler can’t play since he’s recovering from that torn ACL he suffered last season.
But he sure would love to try…right coach Barnes.

Said Barnes:”If you ask him, he would tell you right now he wants to practice today. I mean when we first started, we came out doing some simple passing drills and he wanted to jump right in. We have to keep holding him back. I think if you talked to Chad and Garrett, they would both tell you that he is ahead of where he wants to be, but we are not going to let that come back until we know that he is one-hundred percent ready and that won’t be until late in the fall probably.”
