Catoosa County Library open as designated cooling station

CATOOSA COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) — The Catoosa County Library has opened itself as a designated cooling station for the area while the temperatures are high.

On July 15, Catoosa County Emergency Management said the library would be open as a cooling station due to the heat index reaching 90 degrees or higher.

They are open regular hours. People are welcome to eat and drink in the library, as long as they clean up after themselves.

The cooling station will be open these days and times:

• Monday 7/17 – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Tuesday 7/18 – 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Wednesday 7/19 – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Thursday 7/20 – 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Friday 7/21 – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Catoosa County Library is located at 108 Catoosa Circle in Ringgold.
