World’s longest yard sale begins for 2023

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Highway 127 yard sale stretches from Alabama to Michigan. It’s the longest yard sale in the world.

This yard sale passes right through Chattanooga.

Driving down 127, News 12 found multiple tents already set up and operating before the yard sale officially started.

The sale officially starts Thursday and runs through Sunday.

Yard sale items range from clothes, tin signs, cooking supplies and more. There’s a little bit of everything, for everyone.
