New addiction recovery center opening soon in Dalton

The center officially opened on Thursday, August 15.
DALTON, Ga. (WDEF) — A new addiction recovery center is soon opening in Dalton. The Whitfield – Murray Conasauga Community Addiction Recovery Center will host its grand opening next week.
The grand opening will take place on August 15 at 2 p.m.
The location for the new recovery center is 301 West Crawford Street on the second floor of the building.
The Addiction Recovery Center will provide free services to Whitfield and Murray County residents. These services are also completely voluntary.
They will provide services to anyone who is affected by substance abuse, and not just those with addictions. Meaning, they provide services to those impacted directly or indirectly.
“Addiction not only affects the person with the substance use disorder, it can also affect your family and friends. Our vision is to bridge the gap in services in effort to extend the healing process within our community,” the Addiction Recovery Center said.
Here are the services the center will provide:
- Individual counseling
- Cognitive behavioral therapy
- Cognitive processing therapy
- Trauma therapy
- Accelerated resolution therapy
- Post-traumatic stress disorder therapy
This center will be open Mondays through Fridays, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
