Police officers shot & 2 two suspects killed in Clarksville hostage standoff

CLARKSVILLE, Tennessee (WDEF) – The TBI will handle the investigation into a standoff overnight that ended with several police officers and two suspects getting shot.

The two suspects were killed.

The TBI reports it started on Tuesday when Clarksville police served arrest warrants on two brothers for Aggravated Burglary.

Brandon and Leonard Green barricaded themselves in an apartment with a hostage.

The standoff last through the night.

Eventually, two officers entered the home and exchanged gunfire with the brothers.

Both of them were killed and the hostage was injured.

Four police officers were also hit by gunfire, but none of their injuries were life-threatening.
