North Georgia Native Dalton Dover to Play Memorial Auditorium

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Country music artist Dalton Dover is happy to be back playing in Chattanooga closer to home.

The Polk County, Georgia native is opening for Parker McCollum on August 24 at 7:30 p.m. at the Memorial Auditorium.

He says he loves being on the road with Parker.

Dover tells News 12 he’ll be playing a 50-minute set filled with both newer and familiar songs.

“For my part of the show, we’re doing a lot of new music on songs that have not been released yet,” Dover said. “But yeah, I’m really excited to get out there and play, and play some of these new songs and some songs that have already been out. So, see all the fans react to them.”

Dalton says his last show in Chattanooga was at Songbirds in 2019.

“I’ve always loved playing out here, but I’ve also got a lot of friends out here too, so I’m glad they’re going to be able to come out to the show because usually I don’t play this close to home, you know? So, it’s kind of cool to be so close to home where people can come see me,” he said.

Tickets to Thursday night’s show at Memorial Auditorium are still available here.
