Ice on the Landing gets new location for 2023-2024 season

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga’s annual ice-skating rink, Ice on the Landing, is getting a new location for the 2023-2024 season.

This year, they will be located at the First Horizon Pavilion, at 1801 Reggie White Boulevard. This is the location of The Chattanooga Market as well.

The rink will open for the season on Friday, November 24, and last until January 28.

It has been located at the Chattanooga Choo Choo, in the Glenn Miller Gardens, since 2016.

“We have loved having the ice rink at the iconic Chattanooga Choo Choo, but we are thrilled with the growth opportunities and the amenities that the First Horizon Pavilion will offer to our guests as well as sponsors,” said Chattanooga Presents owner Carla Pritchard. “We will now have additional space to provide more programming and entertainment, convenient parking and never again have to close the rink due to rain. People really love the outdoor and open-air setting, and the high overhead covering will protect the skaters from rain as well as protect the ice conditions.”

Additionally, the new site will allow for winter-themed lighting and décor. Weekend food trucks will also offer concessions on site.

Tickets will be $12 for adults and $10 for children aged 12 and under.
