Mocs Open Spring Drills Looking to Build Depth on Defensive Line

Chattanooga-(WDEF) The Mocs football team opened spring drills on Friday.

Head coach Russ Huesman is excited by his team’s offensive potential.
He says this year’s unit could be more productive than last years.
Defensively, Chattanooga will have to replace some likely NFL talent on the D-line with the departures of Davis Tull and Derrick Lott.
But the cupboard is not exactly bare.
Said Huesman,"Josh Freeman is coming back. Isaiah Mack out of Northwest Whitfield we think is going to be a star. Taylor Reynolds can be a really good player. The problem you get into when you lose Danny Ring, Davis Tull, Derrick Lott, and Zach Rayl is now you tale a big hit in your depth. We won’t have the depth upfront that we’ve always had."
