Mom to Mom – No Bake Cookies

Today on Mom to Mom, we’re making easy No Bake Reese’s cookies.

My kids always love a good afterschool snack, and I must say, if you’re looking for something healthy, this is not it. But they are so delicious, and they’ll definitely be a hit wherever you take them. So, if you take them to a party, a family reunion, or just a nice little snack for your kids to have after school, they’re going to love it. I promise you. What you need are four cups of Rice Krispies. You’re going to need half a cup of chocolate chips. Then you’re going to need one fourth cup of sugar, and then one and one fourth cup of peanut butter. So, what you want to do is you want to mix your peanut butter and your light corn syrup together. Then stick that in the microwave for about two minutes. Stir it up. Then stick it in for another 30 seconds. Once that’s out, you stir that and have everything mixed pretty good.

Then you’re going to take your four cups of Rice Krispies and mix that in as well. Now I like to throw the chocolate chips in there while it’s good and hot and just stir it all together. Let that cool for just a few minutes. Then you want to take your rice crispy, excuse me, your Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Kind of chop those up. They can be chunky; however, you like them. Once your mixture is kind of cooled a little bit, then you can throw those peanut butter cups into your mixture. Then you want to take and kind of just ball them up in little cookies. So, once you get the consistency that you want, you ball them up, put them on some wax paper. Let those cool for a little bit. I’d say maybe about five minutes, and then they’re ready to serve. It’s easy to do, and you got most of the ingredients right in your house.

Moms, if you have any wonderful ideas, we’d love to hear about it and we’ll see you on the next Mom to Mom.
