Baylor-McCallie More Than a Rivalry Even For the Coaches

Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) There are rivalry games. And then there’s Baylor-McCallie. It’s wild. It’s crazy.

And according to McCallie coach Ralph Potter, the rivalry comes with plenty of second guessing.

Said Potter:”You’re a lawyer or you’re a doctor doing surgery, and you do your thing every day, and it’s always intense and it’s always procedural, and you always have certain things you have to do.

And then just imagine all of a sudden everybody pay attention to what you’re doing and it’s live streamed on TV, and people at home think they are better doctors than you are, so everybody’s paying attention to it, and they’ll go, why did he make that incision?Or why did he object to that? I mean, that’s crazy. I don’t know why he would do that. So it’s sort of like that for the players and the coaches.”
