USPS announces holiday season shipping deadlines

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — It may still be October, but the United States Postal Service has already announced their shipping and mailing deadlines for the holiday season.

For the United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii, the deadlines to make sure deliveries are received by December 25 are as follows:

  • USPS Ground Advantage – December 16
  • First-Class Mail (including greeting cards) – December 16
  • Priority Mail – December 18
  • Priority Mail Express – December 20

The USPS also said they will not have a peak or demand surcharge this season.
